Norma McCormick, President
Norma McCormick is founder and principal of Corporate Health Works, Inc. established in 1987. She works with organizations in the private and public sectors to evaluate the impact of health and safety and environmental laws and regulations, and develops and delivers programs and services to ensure regulatory compliance in these areas. The scope of her practice includes, in addition to general consultation, the conducting of workplace safety audits, the development of safety programs and the writing of safety policies and procedures.
Norma is a long-time member of the Canadian Standard Association’s Winnipeg Community Advisory Panel on Occupational Health and Safety. At a national level, she is a member of the CSA’s Strategic Steering Committee on Occupational Safety and Health, and serves on the Consumer and Public Interest Committee of the Standards Council of Canada representing a special interest in workplace health and safety.
Norma was the 2006 recipient of CSA’s Award of Merit for work in the safety and health field.
