Workplace Safety and Health Committee Training
The Manitoba legislation requires Safety and Health Committee members to be provided with two days of training per committee year.
An effective and fully functioning health and safety committee is a valuable resource as it provides a forum in which health and safety issues and problems can be identified and resolved.
Our training program informs committee members of their duties, roles and responsibilities as set out in regulations and promotes and develops skills in team building and problem solving.
We assist companies to define the mandate and terms of reference for the Health and Safety Committee, to define health and safety policies and procedures, and to establish reporting relationships between the Committee and the company’s decision makers, as well as with company employees.
With twenty years of experience, Corporate Health Works is unique in Manitoba and leads the industry in innovative training and program development.
