Safety Program Development

While every employer would agree that it makes good sense to have a comprehensive workplace safety and health program, it is important to understand that Manitoba’s Workplace Safety and Health Act defines what a Workplace Safety and Health Program is and lays out the content of the program that is required to be in compliance with the legislation. If your company employs 20 or more workers, there are 12 aspects required by Section 7.4(5) of the Act that must be included in a formal program. These include aspects such as hazard identification, risk assessment, policies, plans, procedures and training. Corporate Health Works has assisted many of our clients to develop, implement and review their programs either in part or in whole. Contact us to discuss how we can help your company to build its program, comply with the legislative requirements and keep your employees and visitors to your workplace safe and healthy at work.
